Interfaces thatfeel alive.

Scroll stories, micro-interactions and page transitions that make a site easier to understand and harder to forget, without costing speed or accessibility.

SEE THE CRAFT

The motion lab: seven interactions you can touch

Real, working interface motion, not a video. Toggle, hover, drag and click. Everything here respects reduced-motion settings.

Spring toggle

A spring, not a tween. It overshoots a hair and settles, so it feels physical.

spring 520 / 30

Magnetic pull

The control leans toward the pointer. Click for a ripple from the touch point.

strength 0.4
04Depth

Depth tilt

A card that reads the pointer and tilts in 3D with a moving highlight.

Menu morph

Three lines become a cross. One icon, two states, no swapping assets.

spring 420 / 28

Progress ring

A stroke that draws on an ease-out curve while the number counts to match.

Drag to reorder

Grab a step and move it. Neighbours make room as you go.

layout animation

Text scramble

Hover the word. Characters resolve left to right, like a decoder locking on.

800 ms

Made by the Roaswell studio to show how we work. Not client work, and not a real brand.

WHAT YOU GET

Everything it takes
to ship.

Defined deliverables, agreed before work starts, so scope never becomes a surprise.

01

Motion principles

Easing, timing and spring tokens so every interaction feels like it belongs to one product.

02

Scroll and page transitions

Story-led scroll sequences and route transitions that guide attention, like the ones on this site.

03

Micro-interaction library

Buttons, toggles, menus, cards and forms that respond with purpose.

04

Production code or exports

Clean CSS and JavaScript, or Lottie and video exports, ready for your stack.

05

Accessibility variants

Reduced-motion alternatives and focus behaviour designed in, not patched on.

06

Performance budget

Motion measured against load time and interaction latency before it ships.

HOW IT RUNS

From brief
to finished.

Four stages, each with a clear output, so you always know what is being made and why.

01

Audit

Find where motion would clarify something and where it would just add noise.

02

Set the principles

Define the easing and timing vocabulary so decisions stop being case by case.

03

Prototype in the browser

Build in the real medium so what you approve is what ships.

04

Ship and measure

Release with a performance budget and watch what users actually do.

WHERE IT CONNECTS

One studio.
One system.

Motion works hardest when it is briefed by data and delivered where the budget is.

QUESTIONS

Good questions,
straight answers.

Not what you need? Ask us directly and a senior person will reply.

Will animation slow our site?

Not if it is built properly. We set a performance budget, animate with the cheapest properties and test on real devices.

Do you write the code?

Yes. We can ship production-ready code, or hand over specs and exports for your team to implement.

What about accessibility?

Every motion has a reduced-motion alternative, and keyboard and screen-reader behaviour is designed alongside the animation.

Does it work with our CMS or framework?

We work with most modern stacks. Tell us what you run and we will confirm the best approach.

Can I see it working?

You are looking at it. The scroll sequences, counters and reveals across this site are built with the same approach.
